En principio, los gases de escape se extraen de la c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de los cilindros y se mezclan de nuevo con el aire de admisi\u00f3n en determinadas situaciones. Menos ox\u00edgeno provoca una menor temperatura de combusti\u00f3n, lo que <strong>reduce las emisiones de \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno hasta en un 70%<\/strong>. Cuanto mayor sea la temperatura, m\u00e1s \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno da\u00f1inos se producen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Las v\u00e1lvulas utilizan <strong>aletas de control<\/strong> para generar la alta diferencia de presi\u00f3n entre los gases de escape y el lado de admisi\u00f3n. Los gases de escape refrigerados reducen a\u00fan m\u00e1s la temperatura de combusti\u00f3n.<br>El resultado es una reducci\u00f3n significativa de los \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\" class=\"translation-block\">Los enfriadores EGR, al igual que todos los componentes del sistema EGR, est\u00e1n expuestos a las condiciones de <strong>condensaci\u00f3n de los gases de escape y temperatura<\/strong>. Por lo tanto, los enfriadores deben estar fabricados con <strong>materiales resistentes a la corrosi\u00f3n<\/strong>.<br>Muchos enfriadores hoy en d\u00eda cuentan con una v\u00e1lvula de bypass.
